Farewell Gene Wilder

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Gene Wilder, he appeared in many of Mel Brooks films, notably Blazing Saddles. Which literally had my friends and I rolling on the floor in fits of laughter, when it first opened. There was also Young Frankenstien, Silverstreak, Stir Crazy and also Woman in Red to name but a few. My favourite has to be Hear no Evil, See no Evil which he appeared alongside
Richard Prior. An excellent comedy.

Yep, I liked that one he was in as a Rabi and of couse my favourite Willy Wonka.

For me, he will always be the incomparable Willy Wonka. What a sad loss. Classy of him not to publicly come out to the world with his Alzheimer's disease. he wanted his fans to remember him as he was in the movies, and I can certainly appreciate that.
