How about the PF Market? Usually something there I can drool over! People are friendly, have the same interests and prices are usually very good! Customer service is good, and post and packing of good standard! Outlets all over the world!
[bit tongue in cheek, but worth a mention!]

In no particular order...and obviously extremely biased!

Chuck has never failed to provide good service, the latest and greatest figures, competitive prices and even, on occasion, wise counsel and sage advice.

Some swear at it, some swear by it. Me - a bit of both. My experiences have been 80% pretty good / 20% atrocious. Look before leap. Ask questions. Caveat emptor.

Excellent products and competitive prices.

Firing Line figures - Very good quality and an interesting product line. Their metal castings of SMLE rifles are the best I've ever seen.

Modern figures and weapons of top quality by a Russian 3D scanning and printing firm. Awarded Model of Year medal in 2012, 2013 and 2014 by the German(?) magazine Modellfan. I've only ordered one piece of equipment casting, but it was 'knock your socks off'.

Not a figure maker - rather a 3D printer and online marketing service for sculptors. I've purchased 3 or 4 items from two of the sculptor-manufacturers represented on Shapeways and they were very good, but I recommend a bit of caution and inquiry before you buy.

I've used all four as sources for ground work materials and special tools. Each give good service, fine products and reasonable prices.

Sources for special tools and thingies. Great service and good prices!

All the best,

Hi
myself for figures I have used these manufacturers: Metal Modeles, Pegaso, MMM (including Grod's wonderful releases), CGS, Tommy's War, Stormtroopers, the Fusilier, Reede Ministures, Chronos, FER and Michael Kontratos.

For suppliers (agents) I use Historex Agents, El Greco, SK Miniatures.

I make armour too and recommend Euromodels, Lucky Model and Modellbau König.

In all cases my experience has been problem-free and apologies if I've forgotten anyone.

Cheers

However, 'On-Line', I cannot think of one preference! I know the reliable providers that I like. However, I am not sure if there is a 'Holy-Grail', of favourites. I have had 'Bad-Stuff', from good companies. Also the opposite.

Perhaps what swings things is the 'After service',. if a problem is encountered. Good vs Bad!

Mark.

I keep check on all releases then purchase through my favourite suppliers, Metal Models Direct, S.K. Miniatures, El Greco, Historex Agents, Stormtroopers, CGS Mins, MMM, Best Soldiers, Bonaparte's, Ellies Mins, eBay etc. I do buy a lot of stuff including books paints brushes etc and spend on average between 6 to 8k a year between them all so hope I am doing my small financial bit to keep the companies chugging along.

That's my kind of guy as I can show my wife that my expenditure is very modest (don't mention choppers in the garage) and the list is very similar to mine.

Because I am able to attend a lot of regional model shows across the whole year, I don't really need to buy on-line very often.
It is really great to hear, but not surprising, that the smiley friendly guys I am able deal with face to face are also popular and reliable by mail order too.
But if I am buying plastic figure construction kits like miniart ir masterbox I order from
www.creativemodels.co.uk
Their service is absolutely second to none.
They have daily and weekly sales offers and
on their web site they have a 'damaged box' section...
I have bought many a reduced price item and struggled to actually find the damage, such perfectionists.

Happy purchasing to you all. Paul
