I agree Bob. I also think it could be commercially a good bet and appealing for painters. Not as successful commercially as some pieces but interesting enough. I won't be sculpting it myself because I already have 13 figures in various stages. And I have no interest in doing commercial figures, so...

Never mind Dan, It would have to appeal to a quite a few painter's.

I would paint this. Let's see if we can get enough responses for someone to possibly pick this up.

Tom
(If so, I vote for 75mm:))

An interesting and unusual subject for sure, although it would take a very skilled sculptor to pull off that stance without it ending up looking gawky or unnatural.

Tom and Steve - I agree with your comments. Steve - I find myself coming up with lots of these difficult to sculpt poses - just more interesting to look at.

Moderators - Would it be possible to do a poll on this question?

If a figure based on this painting was sculpted by a top notch sculptor and cast by a leading figure manufacturer, would you be interested in purchasing it at a competitive price?

If yes, in which scale?

1/16th - 120mm
1/18th - 90mm
1/24th - 75mm
1/32nd - 54mm

If the figure was a limited run, would you be more interested or less interested?

All the best,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Yes of course - go ahead and post a poll if you want to. Just click on "Post New Thread" as you would normally, then in the screen that opens, if you scroll down you'll see the tools for creating a poll. Apart from that you just type in a title & text and add an image as you would in a regular thread. Hope that helps.
