Hi all ;)

This is my first entry in the planetFigure vBench, so I might as well introduce my self. My name is Christopher (in polish Krzysztof). As some of you probobly know, I come from poland. I ussually build models of airplanes (WWII peroid), but from time to time I used to make 1:72 scale figures of pilots and maintenance crew just to make my models more realistic (and to look better ;)).

A few days ago I bought Tamiya's Famous Generals set wich includes 5 figures representing General Patton, Eisenhower, Macarthur, Montgomery and Field Marshal Rommel, who is the star of today's episode. This is my first figure in such a big scale and making it probobly won't be as easy as I think, that's why I would be very thankful for any words of advice and/or criticism from anyone who will want to reply to my posts in this (and in the future other) topic.

This is what I have made so far (I'm currently working on the Horten IX/Go-229 from Revell so the progress on the figure won't go fast).

Krzysztof, it is better to paint at first face, then uniform (especialy details like pattes and iron cross) and at last coat. Painting black clothes are not so easy. please, read my article on http://www.modelarstwo.org.pl (in figures section) about painting black clothes, maybe it will be helpfull;)
best regards
