I use a very limited palette with flesh.

Burnt sienna with touches of white and naples yellow
shading I use burnt umber,raw umber and brown madder
for the cheeks and nose area I use vermillion

burnt sienna
raw umber
burnt umber
naples yellow
titanium white
vermillion red
brown madder

I can get most flesh mixes I want from these 7 colours

By far the best rendition of this bust to date that I've seen! The face is phenomenal, and I have no doubt the rest will follow in kind

Completed some more work on this bust today,still lots to do yet.
made a start on the sash and and braiding,these will need another sitting plus some more touch ups on the portrait medal,i may just add another light to the collar as well.
the braid will receive a wash before I pick out the detail on it.
the black tunic will be the last thing to paint on this.
