Well, I've finally finished it :)
This is my second copy of the D. F. Grieve/Debra Raymond resin bust of Field Marshall Gerhard von Blucher. It's an absolutely beautiful piece that I fell in love with the first time I saw in in Historical Miniatures magazine.
After I finished the first copy, I swore off of Napoleonics. It was by far the hardest piece I'd ever done. Then last year I was approached by a friend about painting one for him. It took a good deal of persuasion but I eventually broke down and agreed to do it for him.
So, here are the results....

It's going to be difficult parting with this as I think I did a better job on it than I did on my first one. Here's a picture of it so you can decide for yourselves...

Very nice, and the eyes look superb on the second version. To get the thumbnail on the index I think you can simply edit your first post and attach the picture you prefer, do not place an

Hey Craig, I think the thumbnail looks weird because the autoresize of the home page, next time try to resize the pic you want to attach with a width of 64 pixels, which is the size set by the home page, if using Photoshop just specify a new width checking the mantain ratio option, it should work.

Hi Luca,
I'll have to remember that for the next time. I don't have that capablity on my work computer so I'll have to do it at home.
Hi Pat,
Yep.. he'll be at MFCA. That's where he goes to his new home in New York City.
Marc, John, Stephen and Jay....thanks to you all as well. I appreciate all your kind words :)
Thanks everyone,
Craig
