Hi Bill, if you do a search for the word bases in thread titles (using Advanced Search) you should find most of the prior threads on the subject (115 of 'em!)
Big range in quality (and price) to pick from, with Ken Thomas at the upper end and homemade at the lower end, pricewise at least

Creative Foundations is here in the US and makes round and square bases that won't break the bank. You can PM Steve (he's a member here) and does a lot for the hobby, just ask all the guy's who attended the St. Louis workshop. You can also email him at [email protected] . I pretty much will only use his bases because of all the good things he does. He's also on facebook under
