RK was a terrible thing and has been banned in most countries. The cornea is 'moving' all the time and patients do not have the same refraction in the morning (when the cornea is thickest) than in the evening !
With RK plus terminal Fuch's a full thickness transplant is required. The worse to deal with after that is astigmatism but we can do wonders for that these days : laser, relaxing incisions in the cornea, toric intraocular lenses, etc. You'll see the end of it one day. Don't worry !
