I´ve decided to create this thread to help we, modellers, finding a specifc company and, specially, to "spread the word" about the small companies, that sometimes have great stuff but are little known to the public.

I have this impression by my own experience. Everyone knows Andrea Miniatures or Pegaso Models, for example, but there are small companies with true jewels out there, like UP Miniaturen (from my friend Ulrich Puchala), Maurice Corry, Gordon Mitchells, etc, etc.

So, with the authorization of our C-in-C Gordy, i created this thread, that have the purpose of helping modellers, not "marketing" or something like that.

Now, the fun part: everyone will help. I started the thread, but i do not know all companies. So, you know/own a company and did not saw it here? Post it, i will edit the initial post and we can keep the index up to date.

Disclaimer 1: I decided to not include compnies no longer in production to not cause confusion in the list

Disclaimer 2: Since the qualification of a company as "big" or "small" is subjective, any company can be listed here.

Disclaimer 3: Nor i nor planetFigure are endorsing any of these companies; sometimes one can have a bad experience with a company or a store, but that is a matter for other thread.

Nicolas, I have another 30-40 manufacturers which have not appeared so I'll have a trawl through tonight and post more if they haven't appeared during the day. I have to keep switching from File to File so it gets a bit tedious after a while.

Well done Filipe I can't think why we didn't do this ages ago. It just needs to go on the site where it can be easily accessed
