Modelers, sculptors, painters and collectors of historical or fantasy figures, The East Coast Figure Artists Club will meet in Jan. at The Hobby Bunker in Malden MA. This club brings figure artists of all levels together to share their work, to learn from each other and discuss what inspires us. We'll meet four to six times during the year working around the show schedules.
Our first meeting this month was by all accounts very sucessful with artists attending who work on a wide variety of subjects from historical/military, fantasy/Sci-Fi based garage kits, wildlife and Paleo sculptures. I enjoy the modeler forums but as a life long teacher in the arts I know that there is no substitute for meeting other artists in person, seeing their work and learning how they bring their miniatures to life.
Please tell other artists/enthusiasts about us. I'll firm up the exact date this month and look forward to meeting all of you.
