‘Muc Off’. No, not being rude, it is a product designed to clean mountain bikes etc. I have used it on acrylics and oils by soaking the figure overnight in a tub of it. Works well and I safe to rinse away. I put the remaining liqued back in the bottle and have used it multiple times without noticeable loss of effectiveness.

Really! I use that for my alloy wheels but will think twice now

Having been a keen mountain biker in a former life, I've got a bottle of this stuff in the shed. Never thought to try it on figures. You live and learn.

I use SuperClean on my bike, though I'm a road rider, not a mountain biker. Every so often, I'll clean the chain and cassette with it, then apply fresh chain lube. It also removes tar and other gunk that get kicked up and adhere to the frame.
