New Releases FigureWorld 2011

Not long to go now, and I suppose that minds will turn towards all those trade stalls we mentioned in a previous e-mail.

Here at The Basement we’ve been thinking about them too, and asked if anyone was releasing new models for the show.

WOW ! What a response we got.

Below is all the information we got back, and in the order it arrived.

The Basement

Chris Clayton – Gigantic Miniatures

Undisclosed new release – there will be one, but he’s not even telling us what the subject is. However the new release is going to be what his seminar focuses on, so not only will you see how the concept was developed, but how Chris created the master sculpture and also painted it.

Progressive Engineering

Workstation:-
The Workstation is made from laser cut MDF and is supplied in a flat pack kit form along with stainless steel fixings, Allen key, rubber feet, A4 cutting mat, water jar and full assembly instructions. It is ideal for use on a table or desk top or on your lap. List price is £60.

Some of the above have been posted on The Basement Forum in the “News” section already ( http://tbforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=14 ), But several more photos of releases from Mil-Mart, Reedees and Progressive Engineering are on the forum along with a copy o this announcement.

One thing’s for sure though, there’ll be lots and lots of things to buy, so make sure you come prepared.

Don’t forget – The Basement’s FigureWorld, 23rd July at Oundle School, Oundle near Peterborough PE8 4GH. Held in the Great Hall of the main building and open to the public from 9:30am. Entry £3 per person, children £1.50

All great, but SS flat and the Indian and the stormtrooper are my preferences.:)
