Can't say I understand Diamond Cutters Comment but then most of the time he talks in riddles and garbage about Chinese Meals, so well done mate this is up there with the worst of them.
If you have something sensible to say we would love to hear it(y)

Brian

Great day out, I hope all of the traders found it worthwhile and look forward to next year. Sorry I missed you Steve, only saw your better half:) No problem Brian good to see you again and thanks for the Kits mate, roll on Euro.

I supose that applying for a trade stand at this show a couple of years ago, and being told that there was none is fair enough.
Then making it public that there was space seems to say exactly that to me.
BUT talking to traders that have had a stand at this show they tell me it wasn't worth it for them.
As for talking in riddles and garbage, I supose that a soh would be required there.
In the scheme of things it's not that important is it really.

Really that's funny all the feedback from the traders we had was positive in fact mist reported having a great day.

A couple of years ago. I am stumped Pete as the show has only been in its present place for two years including this one. The year before we only had room for a few traders as we weren't maelstrom games. They restricted quite rightly the number of traders due to space.

Perhaps your thinking of another show

Robin

Mate, I could trawl through my emails to prove the point but to be honest it's not that important to me.
I don't want to get into some public tit for tat, but I will be at Euro. Maybe we could pick it up there?
I'm glad that your show went well for you all by the way.
I'm just away now, to get a Chinese meal

never been before had a great time fetched home some goodies stuff i hoped to get plus a few extras you now how it is hi to everyone i spoke to plus those i didnt get chance to

Hi

Of course we can take it up at Euro I would hate for you to have missed out on a trade place at the show.

Enjoy the Chinese

Robin

A great show, I really enjoyed it. Really well organised, good atmosphere and great company.

I don't understand the negative comment, a complete opposite to my experience of dealing with The Basement.

As a trader and with my finance hat on, this was my best show of the year so far by a long chalk.

A big thank you to all the guys for organising it and for their warm and friendly welcome and I'll have the date in my diary for 2013 with no doubt.

I thought this was a great show - lots of friendly people and some excellent figures on display.

Well I enjoyed myself both as a trader and spectator . I had a trade stand under the name The Base 2B , and many thanks to my mates Ken Farrar and Carl Barton who kept an eye on my stand for me while I was able to pop of every so often and have a look around at the wonderful figures on display (and shoot outside for a very non pc cigarette ) . As a trader I would say it's been my best show this year as a figure painter I would say it's been my best show this year . I know a lot of guys want to go to shows to collect gongs to add to their collection but I think the lack of competion actuly makes this show makes this more relaxed and sociable event .
Next year I'll try and stay over the whole weekend .
