Figurinitaly news march 2022 - Krakus commander

Dear friends

I am happy to announce that Figurinitaly's new figures for March 2022 are ready

Two new figures are available:

FIC22 - Colonel of the Krakus Regiment in 1814 - Jozef Dernicki (a Polish hero)
the figure represents Jozef Derwicki a Polish hero who was commissioned by Napoleon to create the Krakus regiment during his career in 1814.
The regiment had a very short history but it was something special. I really liked the dark blue and crimson uniform with the typical bearskin cape.
As usual the figure will have a full guide which can be downloaded using the QRcode included in the box.
A few notes for the horse which I decided to paint as a Knabstrupper horse with its dark spots on a white/grey base. This is an artistic licence, surely any horse colour can be used.

Beautiful work, but just one question, but didn't the Krakus officers have the melon casquette? Maybe the officers and not the generals?

good and bad question... i saw pictures with and without the melon casquette. here one of the documents I checked doing this figure

in the documents that can be shared using the QRcode on the box I tried to explain the difficulties of the historical research about this subject...
