Figurinitaly news november 19 - Bonaparte 1st consul

after a long moment I've the pleasure to show you my latests release for Figurinitaly.

1st news is Napoleon Bonaparte as 1st consul ( ref FIC14)

Recording to the 250th anniversary of Napoleon's birth I decided to represent him at the beginning of his glory as first consul in 1800.

It was the first real moment where he had the possibility to consolidate and show his power. In a few times he will become Emperor increasing his legend as military but also as legislator.

the figure is casted in resin due to many micro details, has been sculpted by capable hands of Antonio Zapatero meanwhile the horse comes from Chronos range with some modifications.
scale 1/30

ACCESSORIES RANGE
in the accessories range I added two new head sets always in 1/30 scale.

the reference T5 are liberally inspired from the movie "the duelists" contains 5 european character in relaxed pose

the reference T6 contains 5 ethnic characters in relaxed pose.

I also released three new sets of hands in 1/35 scale ... reference 5 - 6 and 7 are finally available

Source? Painting of Napoleon after Marengo by Gros...not sure about the facial depiction of the sculpt...altho who can say for sure given the panting was an official portrait..

Love the figure but that head has to be replaced.

are you celebration his 85 years old, he looks extremely old,

sorry about that, but his does not look like Napoleon at all

ok... I tried to understand your observation about the face and I found them quite correct... for my point of view isn't a sculpture problem but some dark added by my brush
