dear Friend

a new figure is ready in the collecting the classic serie

"Collecting the Classics" is a series of figures dedicated to famous old paintings or... recent
Patrice Courcelle is an artist who has worked extensively on the Napoleonic era and a great painter. For this reason, I have asked his permission (kindly granted) to reproduce Michel Ney

the figure is in the classic 1/30 scale moulded in resin and is available at [email protected] or at Sevres next week end.

hope you enjoy it

Count me in on that one Ivo. The background in Monsieur Courcelle’s painting is the Ferme de Chantelet were Ney & his staff spent the night before Waterloo. It is still there. I have visited it twice. It is a little hard to find but worth it. The chapel has been restored somewhat since I last visited it. Bravo on capturing’Le brave des braves’!

That looks good! Plenty of gold braid to paint. I'm currently working on the Louis Lepic figure and thoroughly enjoying it.

Hi Ivo

Another excellent idea for figures , working alongside the work of a fantastic artist

Great addition to the releases , fine artwork as well

Thanks for sharing

Happy releasing

I recognise some of the components from the Louis Lepic kit:

bits-n-pieces.jpeg

You get 3-D printed stirrups and spurs and photo-etch bits and buckles. They work really well and you get plenty of spares!

I'm having second thoughts about all the oak leaf embroidery on the good Marshall's kit. Last time I painted something like that my eyeballs nearly popped out.

the 3d parts have an extra piece for safety as the horse bits... they are small and fragile... for me an extra components isn't a problem but is for sure a problem can't finish a kit because a piece crashed

;):)
