Hello Pops, Great looking face. The helmet cover, uniform, parka, and equipment, all look authentically and very well painted to me. Nice touches with the unit shield and cuff title on your base. I also like the map of the Battle of the Bulge, for your backdrop. After your long layoff, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Great work Pops. Regards, SG:)(y)
 
He looks great Pops. maybe some more highlighing and shading would make him look even better but it's probably the photos that have washed the shading out a bit. The red/brown camo colour looks a bit thin on the top creases and shows the basecoat coming thru and is a bit shiny in places. It's easy to go over these bits with the colour and add a wee bit Tamiya flat base ( if youre using acrylics) to the paint.
Very minor critcisms as you have a very high quality piece as he stands.
Great work especially after so long without painting.
