Truly amazing, I hope to never sculpt another 1/72nd ~ scale figure again mine, even at their best, could never compare favorably to yours. I doubt my eyes would put up with it now anyway.

Very nice to see your work, though I could have wished, for my ego, that you had not. lol

Thank you very much for your words, I really appreciate it, particularly coming from other figure sculpting enthusiasts.
Indeed, I've only used those toothpicks and a scalpel for the job, it suites me fine...and it's cheaper :)
To make the armature, I hold a strand of copper wire vertically between my left pointer and thumb; pick another 2 strands with the right pointer and thumb and place them onto the other one, perpendicularly, like a cross; then I roll them around, like when you're winding and old wrist watch, ending with something like:

...then I just trim the edges!

I've ended up molding these figures with silicone and cast them with polyurethane resin. Here's the result:
