Only a basecoat mate and YES it will be there at Bugle Call ...got to get it done Mr Leadley will also be there!

Not sorted the face yet ... Basecoating the Native Infantry by Mr L !.....well I am in the mood for it !

On second look, Id go for silver/white on a darker red background......


Dark Red backing definately! ....

Like the white idea as well

Fleshwork all done ..struggled a little as she has ( no disrespect to the sculpt !) a quite podgy face ! , hair complete , cap and Unform WIP ...

Off for a biscuit hunt at Jimbo's later so should get quite a bit done on her as well .

Working on Georgina now with water soluable Oils and Acrylic mixes .....couple of iPad pics , still drying back but the uniform and cap red now all done ..just a quick recheck once dry.

Might just put a bit more highs on the hair

Now to the lacework and cap piping

Then the badges

And all done

Hair highlighted a bit more might "rosy" her face up a bit possibly a bit too light ?

Lacework 80% done now ...no blooming medals though!..lol

Looking forward to the badges instead .....

What do you reckon on the brass stirrup badge ...would it look better in white? It looks like it could be either the picture is difficult to work from ( I blame Steve..lol)

I would go with the brass version (although it may be metallic embroidery), the white on grey looks like its from a ww1 ward uniform (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry not only drove ambulances they also ran hospitals and casualty clearing stations for the Belgian and French Armies)
