Hi guys,

So i would like to start sculpting to.
I have done some efforts to try tomake an Ork, but untill now without descend results.

First i am going to show a picture of what it should look like:

and the what i have done for it:

As you can see, there is nothing much that examples the image of the Ork.

I do start to think that the ork maybe is to much out of my league at this time (as i am a beginner)
So maybe i am going to start with something easyer, but i do not know what then.

The material i use to make the ork is FIMO.

I had some tips allready from our good friend Renéduret, but all tips are welcome.

here I found a nice one:

I think you can take advantage of this topic by gathering a lot of info on orcs too.

just take your time Kawa, there is no hurry.
your choice of material is very ok. May I suggest to blend the pink fimo a bit with a little bit ( really a bit) of black? Stains are less visible then and for photographing grey is very nice.

thats a good idea with the black, thanks
no matter how good i wash my hands before i start with the clay, somehow it always seems to get "dirty".
Just add black collorant or a piece of black fimo?

Ill have a look at those links now first ;)

I developed my French for technical purpose there. It's a very good site and I think you will love Nicolas' works ( AvangerD ) when you are interested in fantasy.

Because the Ork is not going to good at this moment due to lack of experience, i started with a tutorial out of a book on how to make troll faces.
This is the result so far (pics are not the best because the where made with my celphone)

Nog i need to smooth it out, work on the eyes,...
I must say i do like the result so far, it is far from perfect, but i am starting to get somewhere i think.

Any tips to improve this trollface are welcome ;)
