Here is the first figure that I have posted on here. It is actually my third 90mm figure from Pegaso that I have done, but I am especially proud of this one ( I painted about seven 54mm figures before I started the 90mm's). I have had a lot of help from Guy almost to the point of pestering him I am sure. I recently made some changes to the figure that are not pictured here that resulted from advice given by Steve Scott whom I met at the Hussar in Tulsa. I know the pictures aren't all that great but I hope you enjoy them anyway. Any critiques or further advice would be appreciated to help me along in my new hobby.

Thanks for your time

Excellent work.

Love the snow and the chain mail. Not shiny. Love also the color choice.

Good work

Thanks fellas for looking at my figure and your comments, it was really fun to paint.
Marc; more highlites on the raised areas of the chainmail (thigh, forearm, etc.,) is exactly what Steve Scott said and I did apply his advice and it looks much better. Thank you for the suggestion.
I am working on Andrea's "wrath of God" right now, I think this figure is going to be really fun to paint. I hope to have him done in a month or so and will post for your review.

Thanks again for looking.

Mike

Excellent painting Mike. I can assure you.......you have not pestered me at all. I enjoy helping anyone who feels I can help.

Excellent painting for your first 90mm !! I echo Marc for the mail and also for my opinion the helmet needs some more shading and highlights

cheers

Ubbi: I totally see what you mean on the helmet, it looks very "static" without some highlites and darker shading. I'll make the changes.

Thanks!!

Hi Mike

Thats a good starting point you have there, some good points have said about the metals, well done. Never get disheartened by critique its there to help no matter how harsh it can be.

If by the time you have finished a figure you are happy with it, but the next time you look at it, you see things you could have done better --- “You are progressing”

I am jealous of you though, I wish I could go round and see Guy at home, I would be there every weekend........ (cheers Guy)
