I agree with Wayne and what he mentioned about the designs taking away from the model specifically but the design work is a spin on the photography side of the hobby.
These are some of the images that went into the other "spin" on the hobby.
The great thing about this time in painting is that we can capture the work we've put into the hobby and see it again on screen savers etc.
I'm sure we've all spent hours on a figure that then it goes onto a shelf and rarely gets looked at closely again.
Have a go with some photography.
Cheers from Cumbria where the painting weather has set in for the next few months at least.

Beautiful collection really.

Yes, you're probably right. For many miniature sculptors and painters, the process of making is the most important thing, and after completion, the interest is not so great. Attention is always attached to a new, exciting project. It's similar to me. I admit, however, that sometimes I spend tens of minutes viewing my finished stuff, mostly mainly to look for mistakes, but occasionally because that I am ashamed of the feeling of pride :p :D (When I make something really great). But most of my attention is always a new project. It is true that thanks to the photos I can remember all my work (most of them leave my house, so photographs are often the only reminder).

Thanks for the great thread and sharing photos. What about you, other sculptors and painters? Try to put your collection here as well, if you find time and taste ;)

I wish all the beautiful autumn days.

Cheers Borek

No one yet, so I'll try to add something. Here are some of my graphics plates from the presentations on my blog. So far, I have had a unified graphic design, but with the advent of new projects, it will be necessary to create different styles and variations. Thanks everyone for watching and try to put here also some pictures of their finished pieces, whether you are sculptors, painters, or both;) ...

Cheers Borek
