Hello Planeteers. This is my first attempt at posting and I'm not sure how this is going to come out (sort of like when I paint something). So let me say in advance, if the site crashes, I didn't do it. It was like that when I got here. If it doesn't crash, this is Young Miniatures great WWI Stormtrooper bust. Sculpting and casting are up to their usual high standard. Painted in oils (face) and acrylics (everything else). Photos are by Alfonso "Fonzie" Vitela (friend, fellow North Texas Figure Club member and professional photographer.) Hope you enjoy. And, constructive criticism about the figure and/or posting is appreciated.
All the Best to Everyone,
Tom

Thank you all for your warm reception. Dan, to answer your question, I started painting in 1975. Quit twice for about 15 years total and started back about 4 years ago. I'll be glad to post more but the only camera I have is my phone, so the next round won't be as polished as this one.

Thanks JCOX. The texture on the overcoat is what happens when you mess up and spray primer from too far away. The droplets begin to dry and clump together before they hit the surface. Scared me pretty bad for a minute. Then I figured out that it looked good on the coat and scraped it off where it didn't belong with a toothpick/cocktail stick. You have to be careful handling the figure after that because the textured primer coat is fragile.
