First post since Girona

Hi Glen;

I was thinking a defuser might do the trick, perhaps a piece of light tissue paper? I usually use a stand up reading lamp as my main source. I'd also like to try aiming the light higher up, and not directly on the figure. I'll try posting the results and see what folks think.

Wendy; Look in the dried flower section, its amazing the stuff they have there.

Pic with "diffuser"

Tried a new picture this evening, which looks a little darker, but at least the whites aren't all washed out. I was pretty happy with the way the broken colomn appeared and this picture gives you a better sense of it. I hope I'm on the right track photographically speaking. (O.K., I REALLY should have attended the session on model photography while in Girona, but there was just soooo much to see.)
