Just started this one got the rest of the kit
separated and primed

to be added after painting separately
Why he looks so weird.....or is it my painting

Hello Frank, like the tones you've used and the graduation between the all looks like pretty good stuff from where I'm sitting (Salford!)
Keep it up mate ;)

Hi
Thanks for the encouragement

Every time I paint it is an experiment

But due to this figures exposed arms and legs
have arirved at a skin tone formula I can get back to
That is easy to remember it is as follows

base colour ......75% light brown vallejo 929
25% flat yellow vallejo 953

darken with flat brown 984
lighten with citadel bleached bone

tone with vallejo model air mahogany.... its a nice red wine colour
and makes a nice pinky shade ...when mixed with the bleached bone
and base colour

This is an approximation of a number of painters mixes
so not claiming to have arrived at it on my own

hope it might be of use to someone

Frank

Excellent start. I am working on this one now myself. However, I attached the head and started on the Lorica and the leathers...
