Thanks for ur encouragement guys !! Try more and more and more, thats the only way i see , to learn painting miniatures, so i ll have to follow !!!!

Costas, that's one heck of a job on that figure! (y) Very well done with some excellent groundwork. I just get cold looking at those pictures! What did you use for the snow? I saved your oics for some future projects with snow in them.

Thanks,
Jim Patrick

Costas,
great work! I particularly like the base and groundwork. I love the way you brought the groundwork down into the area below the top where the burl left the small cut-out down the corner. Keep 'em comin'!

Costas,my friend, that's a BEAUTIFUL piece of work there (y) (y) (y) !!!! The wooden base REALLY COMPLEMENTS the figure and the snow-work is just AWESOME !!! WELL DONE,my friend, and keep up the GOOD WORK. Cheers !

Guys thanks a lot for ur commnets . I really appreciate them .

Snow is microballoons, mixed with a CA glues filler mineral dust . This gives the sparckling effect depending on how much u use in the mixture.

Christos i will be in Athens from 22 Dec till 6 Jan , and i will perform some demo presentetaion in Star Club concerning bases making and diorama techniques used for figures environment. Check the greeek site for details, date to be announced soon. We will do 2 different bases from start to end there , with all tricks and tips and will answer all kinds of questions u might have.

Hello Costas,

very good job! I especially like the gradations on the shield a lot.
The groundwork is very beautifull, but maybe could be a little smaller? But probably this is simply a matter of taste.

Looking forward to the next one!

Marijn

Dear Marijn hi . Thanks a lot for comments. As for groundwork size , well is a big figure 75mm and i gave it the space i thought it was good enough. But as u say its also a matter of taste. Just wanted to put the guy in the scene .

Keep Safe my friend
