This is my first attempt at doing a face in acrylics so would looking for feedback and any pointers to help improve my work.

Hi Clive!

For the 1st time is good.:)
Allow me some points, try to blend more the tones to reduce the harsh effects between the lights and shadows. You could use a mid tone to do that. Keep the paint fluid, like milk consistency, unload the brush and apply ink between the border of lights and shadows letting dry between layers. With persistency the results come.
Painting flesh needs pratice, so PRATICE!!! Perhaps a course or seeing a "master" workshop (you will have another perspective).
Remember, the main goal of this hobby is at the end you like the results and have fun.

Thanks for your comments pedro, could you explain the use of ink as this is something I've never used. I struggle with trying to blend acrylics so any advice on that is welcome.
I would love to do a course from a painting master but they seem to be very rare to do one.
