Yes, IMO the irises need to be bigger and less round, that is only the lower part of the iris should be visible under the eyelid, so it will be 2/3 of a circle rather than round. The positioning of both is great, you just need to add a little colour at the top edges of the iris to make it look less like he has a surprised expression. Unless of course that is what you are going for.....Thanks, Nigel/Kevin.

That's where I find the pin trick helpful, because you can gradually shape the iris without having to rely on a really steady hand and a very fine brush.
I just finished up painting some eyes for a 90mm figure, and it took the better part of several hours to essentially get two black dots exactly the way I wanted them (and this was using my 3.5x optivisor). Anyway, looking forward to seeing more .
