Fixture ?

Well fellow PF members a few weeks ago I just became a "fixture" after a number of years posting ,responding and sometimes making a real ass of myself, I find I'm not so sure I like that tag. Maybe because it's such a vague term and covers a lot of ground. It's like going to a place where someone is just "there". Therefore; I am thinking of becoming a supporter. Because of the fact that I am not a member of Facebook and don't wish to be (****, I can't even give a descent "Like" without it saying "You".
And another, "therefore" I think I would like to be a PF supporter because it just seems to be what I am. I think this is a good place to throw out the info...... or maybe; I should have stayed anonymous? Or maybe; someone else thinks as I do.

The term fixture certainly has no detrimental implications , in my view just means a member is a very regular contributor ...must admit I was a complete ass as a new member ...lol

Becoming a PF supporter has benefits not least removing those often annoying ( IMO ) advertisements but more importantly by using a few $ you are helping with the day to day costs etc of the website itself .

Go on mate ....it's dead easy ..I did it !

Hi Wayne.
Have to say I didn't / Haven't given it much thought.
I became a PF Supporter as I thought it cheaper than a Mag subscription, I have received more help and info on this forum than from any magazine.
So as Nap say's take the jump. Also you can attach pictures to your PM which is very helpful when assisting a member in private, or being assisted with somthing that you dont understand and dont want to look a plank on the open forum.

A brilliant, friendly site that offers so much to members in the way of help, inspiration, techniques, accessories, where to buy things, figure news and availability, a market for selling and purchasing with no fees, reviews of and comment on products, and quality work. Who wouldn't want to support it?

The reason I became a Supporter is that Im willing to sponsor this forum which gives me so much back. Inspiration, help, information, friends, humor etc.
It is rare these days when everybody wants everything for free. And perhaps the reason for the status and atmosphere on some other forums?
