Hello, friends.
Can anybody help me, please?
I am trying to find any figure in 1/48 scale of a Fleet Air Arm Pilot, in the Suez Crisis era.
Also any good ilustration of the same subject.

Sorry to hijack your thread Jose, but I am looking for a 1/32nd version from WWII and it seems to me (and I m willing to be wrong); but excluding uniform differences (insignia etc) wouldn't a Fleet Air Arm pilot have the same kit as an RAF pilot?

Hi Jose, (& Mark)
I have just had a word with my Dad who was in the Fleet Air Arm in WW2. The pilots in WW2 wore standard naval officers uniforms but the wings were on the sleeve and not above the breast pocket. They used standard issue RAF flying equipment. As for the Suez period, the dress would have probably been khaki drill and again standard issue flying equipment. I have a book somewhere on the Fleet Air Arm, if I find it I will have a look through it. Hope this of some use. In conclusion you could probably use any RAF pilot in you required scale if wearing flying equipment.
cheers
Richie
