Hey Everyone,

What brands is everyone interested in? Toy Soldiers are my passion and my career.I took over my late fathers business Fleurbaix Toy Soldiers. He too had a passion for Toy Soldiers and made it his goal to acquire the rights and moulds to a lot of ailing British Toy Soldiers Manufacturers. Before he passed away we managed to acquire Battlezone, Burlington, Ducal, HM of GB, JG Miniatures, Mountford Metal Miniatures, Music in Miniatures, Rosedale, VC Miniatures, Ward Toy Soldiers, some of Rose, Tommy Atkins, John Eden.
After a fire and several changes of premises has made it difficult to fully realize my father's dream I am finally getting through cataloging the thousands of figures we have and hope to have an updated website with updated prices by the middle of the year.
I am really keen to reconnect with people who also share a fondness for this hobby so comment or message me it would be great to hear from you !

Abram I seem to remember that Mountford had an excellent range of cannons from various eras. Are these guns in your future release plans?

Hi Oda,

Thank you so much for the comment.

Mountford produced some beautiful cannons, which I now produce as I own the rights, masters and moulds to these. Bofors Cannon, Bofors Cannon on Carriage, 3 pdr hotchkiss cannon are all beautiful artillery pieces and that is just naming a few. I also produce a beautiful range of Victorian Artillery, all of these can be purchased from us at Fleurbaix.

Anyway Thank you again, Warm Regards Abram Simon

Have you been in touch with the bmss? They are 90% toy soldiers and always looking for articles for their publication. Would be an opportunity to spread the word unless of course you are already well connected with them.

Keith

Hi Keith

Thank you for letting me know about bmss. Publishing a few articles in the well known hobby publications has been on the plans for a while, at present I am working on launching a brand new website. This is a mammoth task, as you could imagine with owning much of the prominent brands of the last fifty years.. All needing to be given the justice they deserve and be fit for a modern day market.

Again Thank you, Warm Regards Abram Simon

Hi Oda,
Just as a note. While I will release the Mountford stuff on the website I will still happily make up some castings for you if there is something in particular you might like.
Flick me an email at [email protected] and I will see what I can do for you

Hey Everyone,

I have just added a whole bunch of new Mountford kits on Ebay if you wanted to have a look at some of the types of things that I have available.

Hi Abram

I remember doing some resin castings for Mountford kits, it was the navel gun display team. it was based on the old royal tournament that used to be on TV. I did the logs and stuff your post brought back some memories of doing that work.
