Morning Peter

super figure with all the subtle changes for the better.

Great palette and equipment upgrade and all done during the visit from the terrible 2!

Have a good day with your next victim and hopefully not too wet for you all at the moment?

Regards

Steve H

Henk - Cheers. Funny how something as seemingly insignificant as pushing the helmet back can make such a difference.

Pete - Thank you. I've made most of the Tamiya kits and they have a lot of possibilities. Some are definitely better than others, but they can be usually be tweaked a bit. This is a Cossack I made using Tamiya's German officer and various Verlinden parts:

Not great, but fun to do.

Chris - Glad you like him. I always enjoy mixing and matching parts by various manufacturers. Interestingly, it's the plastic figures that seem to survive longest in the cabinet rather than the resin ones.

Steve - Things are full on with young Remi, but she's very entertaining ('' You have a beautiful beard Grandad''). K and I are off to Wales on Thursday, so I'm working on a bust (hooray, he says) which I hope to get done before I go away. Very stormy here this morning - the trees are bent double - hope it's better up North.

Peter you’ve nailed it with regard the power of small tweaks to add personality & tell a more compelling story. Seeing this guy’s wary face, the gloom in his eyes is what has made real difference.
And that Cossack mate - recognise that face anywhere!
Jillian Hullis I reckon. He too had a way of making a “lived in” face. Interesting conversion & am sure Martin Rohmann will have more to share on his favourite subject.

Patrick - Glad you like him. There's a lot of mileage in these plastic kits.

Anthony - Many thanks.

Nap - This one's a few weeks old - resurrected by Anthony.
