Hi Joe,

Great figure. That was a joke about Tebow BTW. Based on his likely departure from the Broncos due to Manning coming aboard.;)

Thanks and I understand! ;)
Thanks Joe. It's unbelievably good without the rod. So realistic!

Thanks Peter, check out the new picture someone did, they put the custom in the original picture! :)
Very well done! :)
Thank you!
This work is un- frickin'- real!!!! I showed the pics to my 19 year old son and he was blown away by this and your other ballplayers. According to him, your pieces make the McFarlane sports figures look weak. For what it's worth, he doesn't give compliments lightly.
For us northerners, have you ever or would you ever do sculpts of hockey players? No cages... the face is more visible and of course we hockey players are a handsome bunch:rolleyes:

Can't wait for the next one

Colin

Hey Colin,

Thanks to you and your son! I really appreciate the kind words. I have actually done several custom hockey heads for a customer. It is really funny because he ask for this guy and this guy and I have no idea who they are! He will then get pictures of the players with his customs and my heads. I will try to post some pictures if you would like to see them.

Here is the custom that was placed in the original picture.

I would love to see the hockey players if you have a chance... anything to do with hockey and you've got my kid sold!

Keep up the great work

Colin

Thank you Ethan! :)

Outstanding!!!!
The Islanders of the late 70's- early 80's was a great team! I happen to have a connection to the Al Arbour figure... from '77 to '80 Mr. Arbour owned the team I was on and therefore owned my "player rights" which made me and my teammates property of the New York Islanders. I had the honour of meeting some of the players you've modelled during a summer training camp in '79.... very exciting!!!!
Just a little personnal hockey history for ya.
Anyway, fantastic job on these players(y)

Colin

Hey Colin,
Sorry for the late reply... That is very cool!

I just recieved this picture from Daniel and wanted to share it. He was very happy and I have been contacted by a Dolphins player about doing one for him so stay tuned!

That's so cool... you've got yourself a pretty sweet setup with this business. You get to do something you love, get paid for it and meet famous pro athletes... I'm kinda jealous;)

Can't wait to see the next one

Hey Colin,

Thanks a lot. It is pretty cool because growing up I could have oly dreamed about it and now my sons are so spoiled because they think nothing of it! They say hey dad could you see about this or that! Lol the next guy I am doing already said I will get some Reggie Bush stuff for your kids! Lol
A side note...I do not charge these guys at all. Everybody says I should because they have lots of money but that is one of the reasons that I don't. I just ask them to do stuff for my kids which they do and some have given me money and said put it towards the kids college. I think that they feel more comfortable with me knowing I am not out for their money and that I really just want them to do things for my kids.

Joe

Superb! following what Meehan said, add a little Photoshopping and you have a front page!(y)

I agree... my son would rather see the incoming "stuff" (but in his case from hockey pros) than money any day. You're right, keeping the kids happy is worth more than a couple of bucks.
