New name for the set :
THE LAST STAND OF LEGIO XIV GEMINA

Some could get this set produced by "Semper Fidelis", others not.
BIGCHILD CREATIVES in Spain took over this project and now offers it for sale in 3 versions.
Still however in 75mm resin.

The 3 versions are as follows:
- the complete set at the price of 200 € 6 figures

- The first set THE LAST STAND CHAPTER I 03 figures on foot 100 €

-The second set THE LAST STAND CHAPTER II 03 figures including a rider 110€

Note that the figures are also sold individually.

I will not go back to the polemics caused by this set.
It had initially to be limited edition .... Only the delivery was limited!
BIGCHILD CREATIVE seems to have introduced seriousness into the production of their figurine.
I dared to order a complete set, more expensive than 25 € that offered by "SEMPER FIDELIS".
But the delivery is free from 150 €.
You can pay by Paypal, so the risk is limited.
Finally, the set is obviously in stock ....
Like the figurines individually!

Has SF disappeared then ? If so it's rather a shame for they supplied my set of these figures all as promised and the sculpting and casting
was virtually faultless. I'm sure that anyone who buys them from here won't be disappointed.... the quality is amazing.

I also received the full set produced by SF and can vouch the quality was very good. I am glad to hear the figures are now available individually as I might look at getting a couple more of the Romans with shields to slightly covert to make a small shield wall.
Good to see this set is still available, would have liked to see more projects like this from Semper Fidelis.

Nice enough figures individually but I think that the interaction between them leaves something to be desired. The two "shield wall" legionnaires work together, but then we've got a third guy running - presumably into the same hail of arrows but with his shield held almost suicidally to his side, another guy shouting and pointing at something, a vexilifer standing around and their boss on a rearing horse. The whole thing seems a bit random to me.

Terrible riding position on that mounted figure, that left hand should stay on the left and if that position were attempted in real life it would leave the rider very unbalanced and on the ground in the next instance with the horse.

Exactly.
I have started on mine, and have already made the decision to have the mounted bloke on a separate base.

As for the rest, I really don't know what do do with them. Shame - as individual figures, they're superb.
