Hi guys... I've been re-visiting this one during drying time on the Napoleonics...a great sculpt by Pablo Ovecka and produced by CGS military figures..
It's a trooper from the 19th reg..The Green Howard's...about to cross the River Alma..September 20th 1854...under ferocious fire they scaled the heights with the 23rd and 33rd and eventually took the redoubt at bayonet point.......only to be called to retire by bugle call...no one ever determined who gave this order.....they where enraged by this....and the redoubt was retaken by the Guards division....

Wow, very nicely done! I like this bust and you have done a great job on it!

(I may have to hang out somewhere else, this site is costing me too much money!)

I have this one on my bench at the moment, superb casting. You have done a good job on the tunic, nice red.
