Hi Paul
The Figure you mention was a bit of a mish mash using bits from a few old figures for some of the bits, the most part was new
Foxwood have a few figures and busts i've done for them but haven't released as yet, including all of my old 'Spearhead Miniatures' 200mms.
I really like the way you have painted these two. (y)

Apparently they only cast the figures and busts when there is demand, but if you don't advertise and let folk know what you have, how can there be any demand?

We'll just have to look forward to some 200mm figures from your talented hands, Pete.

Both are great - they both look almost like 1/6 figs. And thanks for the paint mixes - its always good to have someone elses' take on Br. khaki. I see that you also line and shade with inks. Not sure how common that techique is amoung acrylic painters but those inks are a key "club" in my bag these days. :)

Thanks for your comments Colin. I really struggled with acrylics, in fact I was no good with enamels and I wouldn't even consider trying oils as I'm sure I'd be a complete disaster with them. The turning point for me was looking at the work of Calvin Tan and reading his Osprey book on painting Waffen SS figures and his blog. That's where I heard about using ink and so far I've had results that I've been happy with, at least with these larger scale figures. Still got to crack the smaller stuff though!

Cheers,
Paul
