lovely work. And a big thanks to you Mr. Barton for flipping the photos. You are truly deserving of the member of the month sir.

Fantastic results (y) I agree, the coat is a gem all by itself. The whole figure looks great. I too wish that I could paint this well :notworthy:

εκπληκτική δουλειά Σεραφείμ όπως και άλλες που έχω δεί στο παρελθόν απο σένα

Ha! I saw "Frederick II" and thought of the Hohenzollern, not Hohenstaufen

Nevertheless, I enjoyed looking at your finished piece, well done!

Prost!
Brad

I won't live long enough to ever paint that well :noteworthy:
Just stunning!

Mary
Mary thank you for your good words but I don't understand your dissapointment. I' m posting the photos of my efforts on figure painting in order to show them to someone else (you know I' m living in a relative modelling isolation) and secondly to inspire or help someone else to learn from my experience. Be sure that my first attempts on figure painting was not that good as the last works of mine.
I'm trying to learn by painting and by observing the works of the other modellers and not only those who are more experienced from me. The work of less experienced modellers, are precious for me in that proccess of learning. My job is a teacher and I believe that the teacher at the same time is a student of his/her students.
keep on good painting and observation of the work of the others.:)
cheers from Crete
Serafim
