An interestingly different and nice sculpt. That said and given the subject, I can hear the blue touch paper fizzing already!

Indeed. A lovely scuplt and casting, and a great-looking figure that could of course be painted up with pretty much any flag, even a 'fantasy' one.

It would be a shame if this thread degenerated into a political slanging match. May the hobby we all have in common transcend politics, at least on here!

Me too, I've already noticed it, so I'm really glad that's finally launched. A lovelly result and an emotional subject that deserves attention even if it's not our usual work terrain.

I think this is OK even if sensitive. Just remember this one next time someone wants to ban figures of little green men ( it has happened).

This is an excellent example of a model illustrating an historical event, and nothing wrong with that.
Must be a great addition to anyone concentrating on building a collection of figures depicting Ukranian and Crimean history.
Seems to be a fair number of pieces covering a range of times and the occasional character from this regions 'colourful' past and present.

but you can discuss the merits of the figure itself now... just not the history behind it, either for or against.
