It doesn't matter what piece or what part I paint on any figure or bust,I write all the mixes down I've used for each thing,that way I know I will achieve the same colour or shade each time,it's just a thing I've done for the last few years now,when I make a note of a colour I add a piece of colour to the note so I definately know then I've got the right colourThanks for the answer. I can see how reducing the number of tines you handle a piece is an advantage, particularly if you colour mixes are constant
