Hi Jesper
I'm probably a bit slow: so it may not be of interest anymore, but I have two miniatures (one is a bust) that might be of interest.
It is both Verlinden. The bust is 200 mm and the other is not a foreign legionnaire but a French line infantry from 1914 in 120 mm, but there is as far as I can see it only takes a few changes to make it a foreign legionnaire. If they have your interest then you should just say, here a few pictures

I have the bust, but no interest in 120mm figure. But it is true that it takes only a few changes. Has to be a little selective. Have eventually bought a few.
Congratulations on the victory by the way - 2 years for the next "rivalry" is too long

Yes it is a long time, have you been to C4 Open in Malmö? It's once a year

Have not participated in C4 - only been there as a guest the last few years. But this year it should be.
Since we can’t go to Esbjerg anymore. They closed it last year

C4-Open is a show like Euro Militaire just a lot smaller, but still very good, which is held in the city of Malmö/Sweden.
Esbjerg is a Danish city on the west coast they had a similar show but it was closed last year

Brian, Jesper et.al.: A 1/16th scale 1914 French infantryman to 1914 FFL would be do-able as a conversion using that figure.

I don't have any color uniform reference photos of the FFL in 1914. These ranging from the 1880s to 1905 might be helpful. Suggest you troll the web looking for more images.
