French Hussar Captain in Rouleau Shako

Hello Folks
I'm almost done on this bust sculpted by Maurice Corry with additional detail on the shako by Mike Wilkinson. Very enjoyable to paint napoleonics again although I almost did the pelisse in dpm.

now, that raises a discussion topic, didn't someone do some German camouflage on a Napoleonic figure once!!!1

It was a Latorre 54mm British Crimean painted in SS camo. It was posted on here about 10 years ago on one of the Holocaust commemoration days & I seem to remember he claimed an artist's right to shock the viewer.

Very fine work. No places to hide with this colour scheme. Just the right amount of shading and highlighting, nothing too extreme
These 'pyramid' type bases really work well with the half body busts.
