French Imperial Guard Grenadier, Andrea 90MM
Back to Nap figures with this excellent figure from Andrea Miniatures .Straightforward assembly and minimal cleaning needed for this one .The painting process was easy with acrylics and oils .Surprisingly it come out really fast .It was fun painting it and is highly recommended .I hope you like it .

Great work sarouman. I love it.
Only one thing about the accuracy of the details. The two chevrons in his left arm are painted in the correct color but they had no red piping around, because they were a seniority mark, more than seven years of service each one, they were no grade chevrons.

The chevron thing is a bit of a minefield :) 2 = 15 to 20 years service and as far as the info I have they are in the colour of aurore but the illustrations all show you have the correct colour "aurore " is open to a bit of interpretation anyway :)

You are right, Ron. I made a fast mental calculation, sorry, the seven years of service only for the 1st chevron. Over the overcoat the color of chevrons is red.
