Another stunning piece from my favourite sculptor, Carl Reid. Perfectly cast as always by CGS. Been on my wish list way to long, so i'm happy i finally got to paint this piece. Painted as always with W&N alkyd griffin oils over Vallejo acrylics. First time using Gamblin rich gold oils (on the flag) wasn't to happy with the colour so i added some cadmium yellow to the gold. Made a little extra "rock" out of fimo to add to the base.
