I'm unaware of Pegaso ever doing this piece in resin Mark - I will stand corrected - so given that and the location itself, I suspect they are both knock-offs.

Being pragmatic, there's nothing anyone can do about this property rights theft problem and modellers and painters cannot possibly know the provenance of each and every figure which has ever been created and then offered for sale!

Other than to not buy them of course and support instead the actual artists and companies, there is little any of us can do about this ongoing problem for the hobby.

Please please do not purchase from the above Ebay shops - they are definitely counterfeits. The shops have endless listings of ALL major manufacturers - Pegaso, Tartar, Altores, Andrea, and countless others. They are listed as "brand new" but have no proper title and no accreditation to the original creators and manufacturers. Some of those Pegaso lines are out of production (wonder why??) and they were produced in metal, so should not be in resin for sure. The warning signs are all there sadly.
Thanks,
Celine

Was it ever released Steve?

Keith

Hi Keith, Long Covid has caused lots of delays here but both the figures mentioned by Steve are with casters now so should be available mid summer all being well. Meanwhile this one is available. It is Warburtons Regiment (45th Foot) Nova Scotia, 1743. 120mm sculpted by Steve.
