Like the look of this and a great pose , like the addition of the weapon, nice character face as well.

Be interested in what Gaudin wanted to play with this sculpt ..as I am no sculptor !

On my list to look out for as its 1/12th and a great subject not seen.

Hope this is a commercial piece ..as I would love to paint this .

Nice bust, a different subject for the franco-Prussian war.
In fact with a rifle you propose a French Fusilier Marin, it's a little corps in the French Navy, but quite Famous, 1870 War, WWI, WWII (Bataillon de Fusilier Marins with the son of the Général De Gaulle/ 1ère Division Française Libre, French Kieffer Commando/ D-day...) Indochina, Algeria..
The fuiliers marins still exist in the French Navy with 6 Elite Commando (Like the SBS in British Army), do not make the mistake, French Infanterie de Marine, Frecnh Army, and Fusiliers Marins (Including Commandos), French Navy.
