Hello all,

I have been working on this figure for some weeks. The figure is a great resin sculpt from Bravo 6.
I replaced the head with a Hornet head with a Duro haircut and added some details like a helmet chinstrap extra ammo pouch on the carbine and static line. All painting is done with AKgen3 acrylics.
Special thank to dr Bison from this forum for the advice on the camouflage pattern.

Smashing!
Thanks!
Hope to see some progress on your marines soon.

You did an amazing job!
Thanks Todd!

Beautiful work again

Mobo

Thanks Mobo!

Excellent work Robert Jan! Especially in this small scale.

Adrian

Thanks Adrian! 1:35/1:32 has always been my preferred scale to work in. Big enough for realistic details and presentation and tons of possibilities in themes and availability of weapons and equipment to scratch or convert.

Yet another beauty from your workshop. Excellent result!

Karl

Thanks Karl, and thanks for the feedback.

Love your work.. (y)

Thanks Warren. Great to hear your appreciation on my work.

Great job. I find this to be a very interesting subject that doesn't get much attention.

Thanks Rusty! I am very interested in those post war conflicts like the war in Indochina and the Indonesian independent war against the Dutch. There is so much more to explore, learn and model besides the world wars or other well known conflicts and armies.

Excellent work!

Pierre

Many thanks Pierre!
Keep those Japanese coming.

Hopefully he wasn't going to be jumping into Dien Bien Phu!:nailbiting:

Beautiful work on your paratrooper!

Joe

Well Joe, he is. Off to hell in a very small place.
Thanks for your compliment!

Lovely work, so convincing in such a small scale!

Thanks Nigel!
Hope to see a new project of yours. Or did I miss it?

Everybody thanks for reacting, liking, watching, and support.

If I may Robert, I'll add to the list:

The Battle of Dien Bien Phu by Jules Roy.

Now here's one that was published just last year that I've not read yet: The Road to Dien Bien Phu by Christopher Goscha.

Thanks for the tip Joe. Didn’t know about the Jules Roy book. Got the Goscha book on my to read list for some time. Gonna order it for beach reading this summer.
