Freya, War Goddess.

Hello friends!

This is the last figure I´ve made for Nocturna Models. It´s 54mm high and it´s made with epoxy clay.
This a very free interpretatión of this character extract from Nordic mythology. Freya was the Goddess of war but also goddess of beauty, so I´ve tried to capture this two aspects.

I hope you like it.

btw, hope its cool to mention , Freya was the Goddess of Fertility and her Husband Frey was Lord of Nature; Friday is their day. The Norse God of War was Tue from whose name we derive the third day of the week, Tue's-day. he lost his hand to Fenris when the wolf bit it off making him the God of War. Previously he was the God of justice.
