What a wonderful piece now that its finished Brian, simply super.
The completed figure and scene looks great and the alleyway really sets it off.
Still think a bit more rubbish but thats just my idea.
Wonderful Mate!

People complaining about the figure, its nonsense. Anyone alive today who had someone murdered by JTR???

Hi pedro,i've just received the Fagin figure in the post today, that will be my next project mate, take careI´m with same question, what I am gonna paint next? I really dont know.
Maybe a flat figure, my first!!! ehehehe
Tony many thanks for those very kind words, Ron has told me before that he feels I have a distinctive style and i'm pleased about that as I don't feel this when I'm painting, thanks again for your commentsHi Brian,
Another cracking great piece of painting. I agree with the earlier comment that you've developed a very distinctive personal painting style that is now easily recognisable. That to me is when you emerge as a true artist, not just a hobbyist. Well done mate.
Many thanks again brian,i'm really glad you enjoyed the figure and for your kind comments, much appreciatedCracking job Brian, your contrasts on the figure are very good and the whole scene works very well.
Brian
Many thanks nick for your kind comments mate,im glad you liked itAnother stunning piece, Brian. I love the grimy, damp and dirty atmosphere you've created with the base.
Lovely painting!
