Beautiful digital sculpture
Can I make couple of suggestions for consideration guys:
1. Open his mouth, seems a bit detached given exertion this leap he’s making
2. Bring finger outside & along trigger guard - bit risky putting finger on trigger unless you plan to pull it

Trust this is of value & neat seeing your WW2 projects work I progress.

Thanks for comments :)
The "finger on the trigger" is just a sketch, probably the paratrooper gloves will be in the final version. It will not stay this way... Although, the M1A1 is not cocked :)

Yes - gritting his teeth a little seems more appropriate.
Thanks for positive reply to suggestions.
Ref “cocked” Tommy - basic training teaches most soldiers it to put finger in trigger guard & gloves sound like just the thing when jumping a wall :)

Looks even better with the gritted teeth like it a lot. The colour photo looks great. This is going to be a great piece that’s for sure.

No, thank You :)
Feedback like Yours is exactly the reason I post WIP's :)

Absolutely obligatory quick&dirty color render :)

Colouring looks super!
Recommend look out for bits to show the way equipment sits after a para jump & wall vault :)
For example make bandage in helmet askew, at a slight angle. Examples of some para models I took in Carentan & Sainte-Mère-Église a couple of weeks ago - may help.
