The rucksack in your post was issued to the Afrikakorps and standard troops later in the war.
Here's a standard large mountain rucksack (in the center with the large top flap) that the Gebirgsjägers were issued:

You'll also notice that in the kit, the axe is modeled like a pick axe with the wood poking through the top of the axe head. That is not the way that a mountaineering ice axe is constructed.
